The stretch yoga class works on opening the entire body, creating space, creating muscle flexibility and joint mobility. The body works in harmony with the breath. A slower pace, combines with passive stretches encourage introspection and self discovery. This class gives more attention to alignment and allows to concentrate on the sensations that rise in the body. The stretch class balances the nervous system and calms agitated minds.
A regular practice reduces stress and helps t face difficulties with a sense of non attachement. One finds its natural balance between strength and flexibility, stability and mobility, concentration and relaxation.
